Riyadh Al Balushi
My name is Riyadh Al Balushi. I go by the alias Blue Chi on the Internet. I was born in Sohar, Oman in 1983, but my birth certificate says 1984 somehow. I run a web magazine called Republic of Code, which currently receives about half a million page views a month made by 250,000 visitors from all around the world.
I am also responsible for other blogs such as the Omani Cuisine and myITLawyer.com.
Offline, I am a Legal Researcher in the Department of Contracts and International Agreements at the Ministry of Legal Affairs in Muscat, Oman. Our tasks involve reviewing all government contracts worth half a million Omani Rials or more and advising the goverment prior to its entry into any international treaty or agreement.
I hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from Cardiff University in Wales. I am currently studying a Master of Laws in IT and Commerce degree at the University of Southampton in England.
I am interested in internet law, intellectual property, web publication, e-commerce, technology, music, and gaming.
