Anon, of course there are no such books on Amazon. There is a difference between website review books and this thing. This book is a DIRECTORY (like a telephone directory), and it is pointless because it CANNOT contain all the Omani websites (are we counting blogs) and because it is impossible to update. It is a waste of money, time, and paper. I thought that I will share it with the readers of my blog because it is so amusingly ridiculous.

Mr bluechi, you should know there are many different level in education epically Oman, there are many people don't know how to search, i see this book very useful, many people (stupid !!!) don't know how many Omani sites, either companies or personal or forums, you measure them as all the internet surfer should be in your level of internet experience.

if you check amazon you will see some books like this, even if you check Neel wa forat site you will find also Arabic books like this.

this part i called knowledge creation but in weak level, in next version maybe he will update these sites...etc.

i saw the add and i like it, but i will not buy as i know Google and yahoo.

but what if he didn't ask for money, jut pay some Rial to cover the printing cost and some margin, would be OK?

BTW: i don't know any one from this project.

hehehe recently your posts have been pure gold of sheer honesty
keep up the good work
but considering the region and the country we live in this makes perfect sense.
SOME people always look at internet-related stuff to be scary and too difficult.
i wont be surprised that some people will keep this book next to their PCs and will ONLY use websites that appear in the book.

This is just a way to make money out of ads … no one will even use this thing … but i all honesty .. you cannot find a good listing of Omani Businesses online … you always have to go back to the good old phone book !

There is so much of money floating around, I think this guy will make some quick bucks. For all their “404/page not found errors”, ministries will be more than willing to have their WWW listed in the printed book. Imagine spelling erros creeping in URLs of the printed copies…I can’t wait for that book
