Oil Painting

I got this extremely random idea a couple of weeks ago to do some of oil paintings when we were checking out ID Design and I saw all these random paintings (I was thinking maybe I should hang up something in my room) and then I thought why dont I paint something myself! The idea was originally to print out something I’ve photographed myself, but I couldn’t find any decent frames.
So I asked Haitham Al Busafi for some help (every single member of his household has artistic skills and can paint – it is crazy!). He helped me buy two canvases, brushes, and some colours (pictured above). I DIDN’T GET A THINNER, but I’ll try to do my first painting without one.
I will let you guys know how it goes!
(I thought I’ll share with you this COMPLETELY RANDOM certificate I got from Qatar for a drawing that I cannot remember, around the year 2000 (three years after the certificate was issued), one of my relatives visited the Ministry of Education Directorate in Batinah for something and found this laying around in one of the offices she had to go to. I have no memory of participating in such a competition and I have no idea what drawing they are talking about.. anyway I still have it!:
)
