I’ve mentioned several times that I’m working on some new websites, my first one is now ready – though half-assed, it can be found at RamadhanTV.com. The idea of the website is simple and fun, people go crazy over TV during Ramdhan, it is the THE season in the Middle East for starting new series. So we will be providing daily coverage of what is happening in as many Khaleeji tv shows as possible and whatever else we manage to watch.
The cool thing about this website is that it is completely different from anything I’ve done before, all my other online projects were long-term projects with no apparent conclusion, ie Oman3D and Omani Cuisine, while this one is going to be a 30-day marathon where we have to post on daily basis for the whole month and then just stop – that is a whole different experience. This is also my first full-time Arabic website, there will be no English version of it, I like to think that my spoken Arabic is better than my English, but I know that my written English is better because I practise it all the time. Making a whole website in Arabic will be a nice exercise. I am also going to work with a whole new team on this one, the majority of which never contributed in such websites/blogs, so this will hopefully be a really fun experience!
